Hello Studnet's and Parent's
My name is Sandra Lara and this will be my first year hear at Simonton Elementary and I am incredibly excited! I graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelors in elementary education and I am currently working on my masters. The last couple years I taught 4th grade and words can't describe how much I am looking forward to teaching 6th grade this year.
Besides having a passion for teaching, I love to be outdoors and play sports. I played softball in highschool and college and still play to this day. I have recently started to play golf and it has quickly become one of my favorite things to do. I am looking forward to getting to know all of my students and parents. I want to keep the lines of communication open at all times so please contanct me with your questions, comments, or concerns at any time. Once again I am looking forward to this school year!
